Using the service

TypeRefit uses AI to replace existing text in an image. Google sign-in is required to generate edits and access your private results. Keep your Google account secure and use only your own account. Staging is a preview environment with test payments, not a Production purchase offer.

Your content and permission

You represent that you own, control or have appropriate permission to upload, edit and use the images you provide and that you have the necessary rights to the replacement text. You must not use TypeRefit to infringe third-party rights, deceive others or break the law. You authorize us and our processing providers to handle that content to deliver the requested edit and run safety checks. Do not upload material you cannot lawfully share with those providers.

Fraud, impersonation and high-risk documentary manipulation are prohibited. Your use of TypeRefit is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these terms. Read it before submitting an image. We may refuse requests or suspend access for abuse or attempts to evade safety controls.

Credits and payments

Credits are prepaid usage units, not money, a bank balance or a currency. Signup does not include free Credits. Under current rules, one Credit is consumed only when an edit is successfully delivered through the service. A processing reservation is released when a job ends without successful delivery. Payment confirmation and Credit grants depend on verified payment records, not a return URL.

Review every result

AI can introduce differences, errors and changes beyond the target text. We do not guarantee pixel-perfect preservation, identical fonts, factual accuracy or legal suitability for your intended use. Review the text and surrounding image before using or publishing a result. You remain responsible for reviewing the result and using it lawfully.

Availability and responsibility

The service, limits and availability may change. Temporary image access is not permanent storage; download results you need to keep. The service is provided as available, without a promise of uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim implied warranties of fitness for a particular purpose and responsibility for losses caused by relying on unreviewed output. Nothing here excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Privacy and updates

Our Privacy Policy explains account, payment and image processing. We may update these terms as the service changes and will show the updated date here.

AI content restrictions

NSFW, explicit sexual content and sexually suggestive content generation are prohibited. Child sexual abuse material, sexual exploitation or sexualization of minors (including synthetic material), graphic gore, extreme or sadistic violence, promotion of serious physical harm, hate or discriminatory abuse, face swaps, deepfake identity manipulation, deceptive impersonation and knowing infringement of intellectual property or other third-party rights are prohibited. This includes counterfeit branding and deceptive removal of ownership notices. The Acceptable Use Policy explains these boundaries and the contextual allowances for lawful creative, educational and documentary work. These restrictions apply in addition to the high-risk document and deception prohibitions.
